Position Overview

This position offers immediate hands‑on responsibility in a fast‑paced litigation practice. The successful candidate will independently manage a caseload, with collaboration and support from experienced colleagues. It’s an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to grow in a team‑oriented environment while building autonomy and courtroom experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of litigation from initial evaluation through resolution or trial
• Draft motions, pleadings, discovery, and appellate briefs in state and federal court
• Conduct legal research and write clearly on complex legal issues
• Represent clients at depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials
• Investigate facts, assess liability and damages, and develop strategy
• Communicate regularly with clients and carriers to provide legal guidance and updates

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in South Carolina
• Highly responsive and professional in communication with clients, colleagues, and others
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
