Job summary

Orionplacement in Greenville, SC seeks a junior litigation attorney for a full-time on-site role. You will assist with medical malpractice, commercial, and general civil litigation, conduct research, draft memoranda and motions, and grow your advocacy skills under experienced attorneys.

Candidates must graduate from an accredited law school, pass the SC Bar or UBE+MPRE in the last 3 years, and have 0–2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited law school.
• Passed the South Carolina Bar Exam, or passed the UBE and MPRE within the past 3 years with qualifying scores for South Carolina admission.
• 0 to 2 years of legal or litigation experience.
• Strong legal research and writing abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated interest in litigation and advocacy.
• Strong academic performance is valued.
• Moot Court, Law Journal, clerkship, or similar law school experience is preferred.
• Collaborative mindset, intellectual curiosity, and strategic thinking ability.

Responsibilities

• Assist with medical malpractice, commercial, and general civil litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.
• Develop strong written and oral advocacy skills through hands-on case involvement.
• Support case preparation, discovery, depositions, hearings, and other litigation activities.
• Work closely with experienced attorneys to develop legal strategy and evaluate complex issues.
• Communicate professionally with colleagues, clients, and other parties.
• Take on increasing responsibility as your experience and capabilities grow.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
