RumbergerKirk is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience in general civil litigation defense, focusing on general liability litigation. 1. Take on substantial responsibilities, including direct client interaction, drafting pleadings and motions, conducting discovery, and participating in depositions and court appearances.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in all phases of litigation.
• Conduct depositions, attend hearings, mediations, and argue motions.
• Interview witnesses, conduct expert depositions, negotiate with opposing counsel.
• Conduct legal research, draft motions, memoranda, settlement agreements, and trial documents.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in insurance defense, with preferred experience in casualty, premise liability, product liability, or complex litigation.
• Ability to handle files from inception to trial.
• Experience with depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Strong academic credentials and excellent research and writing abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Licensed to practice law in Florida.
