Description

We are seeking a skilled Foreclosure Litigation Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience handling contested mortgage foreclosure actions and a strong litigation background.

Key Responsibilities :

• Review and analyze newly contested mortgage foreclosure cases.
• Develop and implement strategic litigation plans to efficiently resolve disputes through final judgment, court action, or settlement.
• Provide clients with legal counsel on the implications of pending litigation, recommended strategies, and potential outcomes.
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal briefs.
• Represent clients in hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Review and approve client invoices, ensuring timely follow-ups on outstanding payments.

Position Requirements

Education :

• Juris Doctor (J.D.)
• Bar Admission : Active member of the Florida Bar (Federal District Court admission in Florida is a plus).

Experience :

• Minimum 2 years of legal practice
• At least 3 years of litigation experience
• Minimum 3 years in foreclosure or foreclosure litigation
• Experience handling at least one trial or evidentiary hearing with witnesses preferred

Technical Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Intermediate level or higher).
