Good general liability defense doesn't depend on which building your desk is in. It depends on a lawyer who knows the file, answers the adjuster, and walks into the deposition prepared.

I'm Ryan Jaiswal at Distinct Recruitment, and I'm hiring a general liability insurance defense attorney for a firm with a Florida practice. The role is fully remote from anywhere in Florida.

The caseload

• Premises liability, slip and fall, negligent security and general negligence claims
• Clients including insurers, retailers, property owners and commercial businesses
• Full file ownership, from the first report to resolution
• Depositions of plaintiffs, corporate representatives, experts and treating physicians
• Motions and hearings argued by you, and trial work as files mature
• Direct reporting to carriers, with your own evaluations and recommendations

What you'll need

• 2+ years of general liability or insurance defense litigation experience
• Organized and self managed, as you'd be working remotely

The salary range is broad on purpose. Senior attorneys and counsel are paid toward the top of it, take the higher exposure files, try more cases as first chair and help develop others.
