Job summary

Jobot is seeking a licensed Arizona attorney with 3+ years civil litigation experience for a fully remote role. You will manage plaintiff-side employment matters from inception through resolution, draft pleadings, respond to discovery, take depositions, and interact with clients while working with seasoned litigators.

Arizona bar in good standing is required; remote work is allowed with potential hybrid in Arizona. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits are provided from day one.

Qualifications

• Active Arizona Bar license in good standing is required.
• 3+ years of civil litigation experience, preferably within plaintiff labor and employment.
• Strong experience with discovery, motion practice, and depositions.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Comfortable managing cases with minimal supervision while collaborating within a team.
• Experience with Clio and Microsoft OneDrive is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate potential claims and assist with case assessments.
• Manage a caseload of plaintiff-side employment litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft, propound, and respond to written discovery.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation-related filings.
• Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategy.
• Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and corporate representatives.
• Prepare matters for mediation, settlement discussions, and trial when necessary.
• Communicate regularly with clients regarding case strategy and status updates.
• Collaborate closely with attorneys and litigation support staff to develop effective case strategies.
• Maintain organized case files while meeting litigation deadlines and delivering high-quality work product.
