Jobot seeks an experienced plaintiff-side employment litigator to join a boutique practice. The role is fully remote with Arizona bar in good standing required; 3–5+ years of labor and employment litigation experience, including wage-hour, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, or leave-related matters.

Salary ranges from $90,000 to $150,000 per year with comprehensive benefits and an opportunity to own cases within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Active Arizona Bar license in good standing.
• Arizona residents preferred, but out-of-state candidates will be considered.
• 3–5+ years of plaintiff-side labor and employment litigation experience.
• Experience handling wage and hour, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, or leave-related matters.
• Trial experience is strongly preferred.
• Excellent legal writing, analytical, and client management skills.
• Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fully remote environment with an active caseload.

Responsibilities

• Manage employment litigation from evaluation through resolution, including trial when necessary.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct and defend depositions, manage written discovery, and appear at hearings.
• Represent clients during mediations and settlements.
• Develop litigation strategy and maintain regular client communication.
• Perform legal research and prepare persuasive advocacy for state and federal courts.

Our attorneys handle sophisticated matters involving wage and hour violations, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, FMLA, USERRA, whistleblower claims, equal pay, severance disputes, breach of contract, and other employment-related litigation.

• Minimum of 3 to 5+ years of plaintiff-side labor and employment litigation experience is required.
• Experience handling wage and hour, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, leave-related, or other employment law matters.
• Strong background in motion practice, including drafting and arguing substantive motions.
• Trial experience is strongly preferred.
• Excellent legal writing, analytical, and client management skills.
• Self-motivated professional who thrives in a fully remote environment and enjoys managing an active litigation caseload.
