Velie Global Law Firm, PLLC is seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney to join our Dallas-area team. You will engage in client interaction, research, and writing, drafting pleadings, and handling discovery and depositions through trial and appeal in State and Federal Court.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active Texas bar membership.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Work with our team of experienced litigation attorneys and paralegals across all phases of litigation playing to your strengths in any or all of the following: Client interaction, research, legal writing, drafting pleadings, conducting discovery and depositions

to pre-trial, trial, arguments, settlement, and appeal in State and Federal Court.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J. D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in Texas.
• Minimum of 1-5 years of litigation experience, preferably in civil or commercial matters.
• Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Strong oral advocacy and negotiation skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in depositions and courtroom proceedings.
• Familiarity with litigation management software and legal research tools
