Job summary

gpac is seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney in a full-time capacity to join a growing litigation practice. You will handle a diverse caseload across transportation, aviation, construction, HOA, professional liability, and general liability matters from evaluation through resolution.

The ideal candidate will have strong research, writing, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills, with deposition experience preferred. Insurance defense exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse civil litigation caseload from inception through resolution.
• Conduct legal research, factual investigations, and case evaluations.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other litigation documents.

• Manage written discovery and expert-related matters.
• Participate in mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trial preparation.
• Develop case strategy and negotiate settlements.
• Communicate directly with clients, insurers, claims professionals, and opposing counsel.
• Appear in state and federal courts as appropriate.
• Work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, experts, and other litigation professionals.

Our client, a well-established and growing litigation practice, is seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney to join its team. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with civil litigation experience who is interested in handling a diverse caseload involving transportation, aviation, construction, HOA/community association, professional liability, and general liability matters.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to take ownership of cases and work directly with clients from initial evaluation through resolution.
