We are on the hunt for a passionate and dedicated Permanent Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. Salary: $115,000 - $170,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend or prosecute lawsuits.
• Manage all phases of the litigation process from investigation, pleadings, and discovery to pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, opinions, and other legal documents.
• Conduct extensive legal research and analysis of laws, regulations, and legal articles to assist in the preparation of cases.
• Gather evidence from various sources and methods, including interviews, legal research, and document review.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in order to avoid court proceedings.
• Provide expert legal advice to clients on their rights and obligations, ensuring they are fully informed of their legal positions.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through excellent customer service.
• Collaborate with a team of legal professionals to develop case strategies and plans.
• Stay updated on current legislation and legal developments pertinent to the field of practice.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing attorney, specifically in labor and employment, plaintiff personal injury, and family law.
• Admission to the state bar and good standing.
• Strong litigation skills, including trial experience.
• Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to construct viable solutions to complex legal problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and persuasive manner.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure and effectively manage client relationships.
• Proven negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
• Ability to manage a large caseload and juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
