Role Description

This is a full-time, Commercial Litigation Attorney role based in Mesa, AZ. The Commercial Litigation Attorney will manage all phases of civil litigation, including case evaluation, legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, and developing case strategies. Day-to-day responsibilities include appearing in court, handling hearings and trials, conducting and defending depositions, and coordinating discovery. The role also involves regular client communication, collaboration with other attorneys and staff, and maintaining organized case files to ensure timely and effective representation.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in commercial litigation, employment law, or bankruptcy.
• Experience drafting and arguing motions, including dispositive and procedural motions.
• Experience handling hearings and managing deadlines.
• Proven ability to prepare for and conduct trials, including witness preparation and evidence presentation.
• Experience conducting depositions, including questioning witnesses and evaluating testimony.
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in Arizona.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills, with attention to detail and sound judgment.
• Effective client communication skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues in a team-oriented environment.
