Job summary

Orion Placement is seeking a Senior Associate Attorney for a hybrid role based in the Mesa/Phoenix, Arizona area. The position focuses on a substantive civil docket including personal injury, probate, family law, and contract disputes, with leadership opportunities as the firm grows.

You will deliver high-quality client service, draft essential pleadings and motions, and contribute to long-term firm strategy while collaborating with leadership and supporting practice development.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of attorney experience in civil litigation or related practice area.
• Strong drafting and advocacy skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with leadership and team.
• Arizona residency preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a substantive caseload focused on personal injury, probate, family law, contract disputes, and related civil matters.
• Deliver excellent client service through clear communication and strategic guidance.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and settlement materials.
• Handle case strategy, negotiations, and hearings as needed.
• Collaborate with firm leadership on case planning, business growth, and long-term strategy.
• Support practice development to expand the firm’s reputation in Arizona.

• Draft pleadings, motions, correspondence, settlement materials, and other key legal documents
• Handle case strategy, negotiations, hearings, and litigation-related responsibilities as needed

• Support the development of the practice by helping expand the firm’s reputation and reach in Arizona

Qualifications

• Active Arizona Bar license in good standing
• 4+ years of attorney experience in civil litigation or a related practice area
• Strong background in one or more of the following: personal injury, probate, family law, contract law, or other relevant civil matters
• Strong drafting, advocacy, and case management skills
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with leadership and team members
• Strong interpersonal skills and a client-focused approach
• Arizona residency preferred, but not required
