Job summary

Kanner & Pintaluga is seeking an attorney to join our PI practice in Georgia. You will meet with clients, assess cases, and communicate with insurance companies to advance claims. You will also prepare cases for trial and, when necessary, try them to obtain the best possible outcomes for clients.

The ideal candidate has a JD, 3–5 years of personal injury experience, and active Georgia Bar membership. Strong writing and verbal skills, independence, and teamwork are essential to success in this

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• 3–5 years of personal injury litigation experience.
• Active Georgia Bar membership in good standing.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
• Strong negotiation and client communication skills.

Position Summary

In this role, you will see that our clients receive the best care and obtain excellent results. Attorneys are expected to meet with clients to discuss their case, show compassion and empathy, and demonstrate an ability to earn their trust, confidence, and respect. They will also update clients and communicate with insurance companies from time to time regarding the status of claims, demands, and offers. In addition, the Attorney should be able to prepare the case for trial and try the case if needed.

Requirements & Skills

• Full-time
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• 3 to 5 years of Personal Injury litigation experience
• Member of the Georgia Bar and in good standing
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
• Experience in knowing how to evaluate claims, etc.
• Superb negotiation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Have a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Ability to work independently in an office environment
• Team-oriented
