Job summary

Witherite Law Group in Atlanta, GA seeks an experienced Litigation Attorney to join our personal injury litigation team. You will handle a full docket from filing through trial, lead a dedicated team, and advocate vigorously in court to obtain top-tier results for clients.

The position offers a hybrid work schedule after 6 months, a competitive salary of $150,000–$225,000 plus monthly bonuses, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, a 401(k)

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ABA-accredited law school.
• Current member and in good standing of the Illinois Bar.
• Minimum of 3 years of Personal Injury litigation experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis.
• Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide effective solutions.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Trial experience preferred.
• Commercial case experience a plus.
• Experiencing litigating trucking and other commercial motor vehicle cases a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle and manage Personal Injury files from file through trial.

• Experience in supervising and managing other team members.
• Pre-Litigation case management and negotiation experience.
• Experience handling cases involving commercial motor vehicles.
• Willing to expand knowledge of trucking litigation and obtain board certification in truck accident law.
• Willing to work independently yet be accountable.

Physical Requirements

• Office environment with normal business hours necessary to satisfactorily perform job functions.
• Stationary Position – Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time.
• Move or Traverse – This position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, meeting rooms, office machinery, etc. May occasionally ascends/descends the stairs to get to other floors, cafeteria and parking area.
• Dexterity – constantly operates a computer and other office machinery such as a copy machine/printer.
