Job summary

Kelley Kronenberg’s West Palm Beach office is seeking an Associate Attorney to join a compact Workers’ Compensation Defense unit. You’ll work closely with the Managing Partner on strategy, with responsibilities spanning hearings, depositions, and case development.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of defense litigation experience, and a workers’ compensation background is preferred but not required. Hybrid/remote flexibility is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of defense litigation experience, with a preference for workers’ compensation background.
• Juris Doctor degree and active Florida Bar admission in good standing.
• Strong legal judgment, writing ability, and ability to manage a docket independently.

Responsibilities

• Caseload ownership from intake to resolution with day-to-day autonomy.
• Collaborate with Managing Partner to shape litigation strategy and case theory.
• Represent clients at hearings, mediations, and depositions.
• Review medical records and evidence to build defense positions.
• Maintain proactive client communication with carriers and employers.
