Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking an Associate Attorney to join a Florida Workers' Compensation Defense practice in a fully remote capacity. The attorney will manage an independent caseload while collaborating with a senior Partner to develop litigation strategies and provide high-quality representation to clients.

Qualified candidates will have at least 2 years of Workers' Compensation experience, a JD, and active membership in the Florida Bar.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of practice experience specifically within Workers' Compensation.
• JD and active Florida Bar in good standing.
• Exceptional analytical, writing, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and utilize legal technology in a virtual setting.
• Experience reviewing complex medical records and drafting concise legal arguments.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of Workers' Compensation defense matters from inception through resolution.
• Partner with senior attorneys to execute complex litigation strategies and client consultations.
• Conduct comprehensive analysis of medical records to guide case development and liability assessments.
• Draft substantive legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery responses.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients, carriers, and employers to ensure strategic alignment.
• Operate with a high degree of autonomy within a collaborative remote environment.
