Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking an Associate Attorney for its Workers' Compensation Defense practice in Florida. This fully remote role lets you reside anywhere in the state, handling an independent caseload while collaborating with a seasoned Partner to develop litigation strategies and provide high-quality representation.

Requirements include a JD and active Florida Bar, 2+ years of workers' compensation experience, and strong analytical and writing skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of practice in Workers' Compensation.
• JD and active Florida Bar in good standing.
• Strong analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience reviewing complex medical records and drafting concise legal arguments.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of Workers' Compensation defense matters from inception through resolution.
• Partner with senior attorneys to execute complex litigation strategies and client consultations.
• Conduct comprehensive analysis of medical records to guide case development and liability assessments.
• Draft substantive legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery responses.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients, carriers, and employers to ensure strategic alignment.
• Operate with a high degree of autonomy within a collaborative remote environment.
