Job summary

Kelley Kronenberg’s West Palm Beach office seeks an Associate Attorney to join its Workers’ Compensation Defense unit. You will work closely with the Managing Partner in a small, high-performing team, handling defense litigation from intake to resolution with day-to-day autonomy.

The role requires at least two years of defense experience; Florida Bar admission is required; strong writing and judgment are essential. Hybrid/remote work is possible when caseload allows.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor required and active Florida Bar admission.
• Minimum of 2 years of defense litigation experience; workers’ compensation background preferred.
• Strong writing ability and solid legal judgment essential.

Responsibilities

• Caseload ownership from intake through resolution with autonomy.
• Partner with Managing Partner to shape litigation strategy and theory.
• Represent clients at hearings, mediations, and depositions.
• Review medical records and evidence to build defense positions.
• Maintain proactive client communication with carriers and employers.
