dfwHR represents a boutique law firm in Dallas seeking an experienced Litigation Associate Attorney (3–5 years). The role offers meaningful courtroom experience, direct mentorship from seasoned trial lawyers, and a long-term career path in a collaborative litigation practice.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Texas.
• Approximately 3–5 years of commercial litigation experience.
• Experience handling business disputes, contract litigation, commercial real estate litigation, construction litigation, or other complex civil litigation matters.
• Looking to gain experience preparing for trial and participating in hearings, depositions, mediations, or trial proceedings.
• Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Strong organizational abilities with experience managing multiple litigation matters simultaneously.
• Desire to develop as a trial attorney within a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse commercial litigation caseload from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategy.
• Participate in depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation.
• Work directly with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and the courts.
• Assist with and, when appropriate, take an active role in bench and jury trials.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys while progressively assuming greater responsibility for client matters.
• Develop trusted relationships with clients through practical, business-focused legal counsel.
