100KCrossing is seeking a dedicated Litigation Associate to join our growing legal team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will bring 2nd chair trial experience with a focus on insurance defense and transportation law, and possess excellent communication and drafting skills.

You will manage a complex caseload with support from senior trial counsel, handling depositions, pleadings, motions, and discovery while ensuring meticulous documentation and client updates.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Prior experience in a law office preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in litigation processes and legal drafting.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex cases with potential trial and aim for favorable outcomes.
• Take and defend trial depositions.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Assist in settlements negotiations and client representations in court.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and prepare for trials.
• Maintain organized case files and ensure up-to-date documentation.
• Communicate with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information.
• Participate in client meetings and trial material preparation.
