Job summary

Deliverance Law Group PLLC in Dallas seeks a motivated Litigation Associate with approximately 3–8 years of experience to join a growing civil-litigation team. You will evaluate cases, develop strategy, and work with clients and senior trial counsel through every matter.

The role is full-time and based in our Dallas office with regular in-office attendance. You will gain hands-on experience in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation while handling a varied caseload including

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in good standing.
• Approximately 3–8 years of attorney-level litigation experience.
• Strong research, writing, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to evaluate cases, identify material issues and help develop litigation strategies.
• Experience drafting substantive litigation documents (pleadings, discovery, motions, briefs, responses).
• Ability to manage multiple matters, deadlines, and competing priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborate effectively in an in-office law-firm environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate facts, legal issues, liability, damages, and litigation risk.
• Develop and implement litigation strategies with clients and supervising attorneys.
• Manage civil-litigation matters from early case assessment through resolution, mediation, or trial.
• Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, briefs, responses, and client reports.
• Manage written discovery, document collection, case deadlines, and discovery disputes.
• Take and defend depositions appropriate to experience and matters.
• Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Communicate directly with clients, insurers, corporate representatives, and witnesses.
• Work with senior trial counsel on case strategy, motion practice, and trial prep.
• Maintain organized case files, timely work product and accurate time entries.
