Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Litigation Associate for a boutique firm with offices on the east coast. This hybrid role combines courtroom work with strategic advisory in the boardroom.

The ideal candidate has a JD, at least 5 years of litigation experience, PA/NJ/NY admission, and strong research, writing, and negotiation skills. Compensation includes a salary of $130,000-$150,000 plus an aggressive bonus and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in litigation.
• Admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania; NJ or NY admission is a plus.
• Strong skills in legal research and writing are essential.
• Ability to manage a high caseload in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of the litigation process including investigation, pleadings, discovery, depositions, negotiations, settlements, and trial strategy.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and stay updated on laws and regulations.
• Draft, review, and revise legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and agreements.
• Represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys to develop legal strategies.
• Provide legal advice to clients and advise on implications of current and future laws and regulations.
• Develop relationships with clients and work closely with them to understand their needs and objectives.
• Participate in business development activities including client meetings, conferences, and seminars.

• Experience with e-discovery and litigation support tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to excellence and high standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research platforms.
