Job summary

German Gallagher & Murtagh, P.C. (GGM) seeks a 3–5 year litigation associate who wants real responsibility, meaningful courtroom experience, and hands-on advocacy from day one. You’ll work on civil defense matters and collaborate directly with seasoned trial lawyers and clients in a supportive, team-oriented culture.

You will handle strategy, depositions, dispositive motions, and court appearances in state and federal courts, developing a strong foundation in trial practice and client service.

Qualifications

• 3–5 year litigation associate role
• Pennsylvania and New Jersey licensure required
• Experience in civil defense litigation preferred
• Hands-on courtroom experience essential

Responsibilities

• Manage civil defense matters from inception to resolution
• Draft and argue motions; handle discovery and depositions
• Appear in state and federal courts
• Collaborate with partners on trial strategy and case positioning
• Engage directly with clients and carriers as trusted advisors
