Job summary
Anderson Legal Group, PC, with offices in Virginia Beach, Newport News, Williamsburg, and Gloucester, seeks a Litigation Associate to join the team. You will litigate cases, negotiate settlements, and conduct legal research to support strategy.
Required Virginia State Bar admission and 1–3 years in litigation. Strong writing, research, and client communication skills are essential for collaborating with senior attorneys and handling diverse cases.
Qualifications
- Admission to Virginia State Bar.
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- 1–3 years of litigation experience.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Litigate cases in court on behalf of clients.
- Negotiate settlements and agreements with opposing parties.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
- Draft pleadings and motions.
- Attend client meetings and provide legal advice and guidance.
- Represent clients in mediation and arbitration proceedings.
- Prepare for and participate in trials and hearings.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff on complex cases.
