Permanent Placements LLC is seeking a Litigation Associate for a leading Am Law firm in Richmond, Virginia. The role involves handling sophisticated complex commercial matters under guidance from experienced litigators.

Candidates should have 2–3 years of litigation experience, excellent research, writing, and analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast‑paced environment. Virginia Bar admission or eligibility to waive into Virginia is preferred.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school is required.
• 2-3 years of litigation experience in complex commercial matters.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle a broad range of complex commercial litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation-related filings.
• Manage and coordinate written discovery, document production, and other discovery-related activities.
• Support all phases of litigation, from case inception through resolution.
• Assist with case strategy development and trial preparation.
• Collaborate with attorneys and clients to deliver effective legal solutions.
• Manage multiple assignments while maintaining strong attention to detail and deadlines.
