Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks an Associate Attorney in Atlanta, GA to handle contested and litigated matters, primarily in the District of Columbia, with potential work in Maryland if barred there. The attorney will leverage their legal expertise to support the litigation process on behalf of clients.

Requirements include a JD, a minimum of 2 years of litigation experience, and on-site presence in Rockville, MD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 2 years of litigation/courtroom experience.
• Regular on-site presence in Rockville, MD office required.
• Foreclosure experience is a plus.
• Member of the District of Columbia Bar; Maryland Bar admission is a plus.
• Proficient in drafting legal documents and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Attend DC court dockets on Thursdays and Fridays weekly.
• Prepare for and attend DC mediations.
• Manage DC service population and draft/edit motions for service extensions.
• Assist with drafting and editing motions for summary judgment.
• Respond to motions and oppositions in DC foreclosure cases.
• Support other duties and special projects as needed.
