The ideal candidate will have exceptional academic credentials and strong communication skills, and experience in court is preferred. Bar admission eligibility in the jurisdiction of interest is required.

Qualifications

• Commercial litigation experience, including discovery, depositions, and document review.
• In-court experience is preferred but not required.
• Exceptional academic credentials.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bar admission eligibility or prompt eligibility to obtain admission.

Responsibilities

• Manage discovery processes, including document review and production.
• Take and defend depositions in commercial litigation matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Assist in trial preparation and litigation strategy development.
• Participate in hearings, motions, and case management conferences.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex commercial litigation cases.
• Provide support in various stages of litigation, from pre-trial to post-trial.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on litigation-related issues.

Proficient in handling discovery and managing document review

Experience taking and defending depositions

Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

Ability to draft complex legal documents with attention to detail

In-court experience

Education

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
