Job summary

Taylor Root is partnering with a well-established Boston law firm to recruit a Litigation Associate with 4–6 years of experience for its sophisticated commercial litigation practice. The role offers mentorship, meaningful courtroom exposure, and opportunities to advance advocacy skills in complex matters.

The ideal candidate will have solid litigation experience, Massachusetts Bar admission in good standing, and proven ability to handle drafting, research, and discovery tasks while collaborating

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of litigation experience, including courtroom exposure.
• Active Massachusetts Bar admission in good standing.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience managing discovery and taking depositions.
• Self-starter with ownership of matters and responsibilities.
• Competitive compensation based on experience; bonus eligible.

Responsibilities

• Conduct extensive legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
• Manage discovery and other aspects of complex litigation matters.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Assist with trial preparation.
• Argue motions and represent clients at court conferences.
• Work closely with experienced attorneys on sophisticated commercial litigation matters.
