Ideal candidates will have a JD, at least five years of litigation experience, and admission to the Alabama bar.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a litigation attorney focused on contract disputes and business litigation.
• Admission to the Alabama state bar.
• Experience in trial practice, depositions, and discovery.
• Excellent negotiation, research, and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage high-volume caseloads under pressure.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in all phases of litigation, including hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Handle complex commercial matters including contract disputes and business dissolutions.
• Conduct thorough discovery to gather necessary information and evidence.
• Prepare and deliver persuasive arguments for depositions and court proceedings.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents clearly.
• Explain complex legal concepts and strategies to clients.
• Develop and maintain client relationships.
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and others to achieve outcomes.
