Job summary

Ogden Murphy Wallace is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Seattle office, emphasizing a collaborative, team-oriented approach to delivering high-quality legal services.

The position concentrates on complex commercial litigation, product liability, environmental law, and insurance coverage matters, demanding outstanding research and writing, superior academic credentials, and the ability to collaborate with multiple attorneys and staff.

Qualifications

• Washington State Bar license required.
• Minimum of 4 years of civil litigation experience preferred.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Superior academic credentials.
• Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys, staff, and clients.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support to senior attorneys by drafting, analyzing, and interpreting contracts and legal documents.
• Research and analyze complex legal issues.
• Draft correspondence, pleadings, briefs, motions, and other legal documents.
• Manage all aspects of discovery, including electronically stored information (ESI), large-scale document productions, and document review.
• Assist with trial preparation and provide support during trial proceedings.
• Conduct due diligence related to contracts, agreements, mergers, and acquisitions.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with prospective and existing clients.
• Conduct and assist with depositions, motion practice, and court hearings.
• Independently manage assignments and legal matters to achieve client objectives.
