• Experience with real estate and finance-related litigation preferred.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have experience handling a broad range of general commercial litigation matters, including significant work in New York State and federal courts. This position provides meaningful responsibility throughout all stages of litigation, from initial pleadings through discovery, motion practice, and depositions.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Active admission to practice in the State of New York
• 5–7 years of relevant litigation experience
• Large law firm experience is strongly preferred

Experience & Skills

• Strong written and oral advocacy skills
• Experience in New York State and federal courts
• Drafting and responding to pleadings and written discovery
• Drafting and arguing dispositive and non‑dispositive motions
• Taking and defending fact and expert depositions
• Experience with real estate and finance‑related litigation preferred
• Trial experience is a plus, but not required

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation & Benefits: $250,000 – $280,000, depending on experience and qualifications. A comprehensive benefits package is offered.
