Orion Placement is partnering with a nationally recognized Texas plaintiff-side personal injury firm to hire a litigation-focused associate. This 100% in-office role is based in Houston, with openings in Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio, TX.

Handle a docket of personal injury cases from pleadings to trial. Prerequisites include a JD from an accredited law school and experience in personal injury litigation, including discovery, depositions, and court appearances.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Experience handling personal injury litigation matters.
• Comfortable managing discovery, depositions, and court appearances.
• Strong organizational, communication, and advocacy skills.
• Trial experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a litigation docket of personal injury cases including motor vehicle accidents and premises liability.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Work closely with paralegals and legal support staff to drive cases forward.
• Communicate effectively with clients, experts, and opposing counsel.
• Prepare cases strategically from filing through resolution or trial.
