Zwicker & Associates, P.C. in Nevada seeks an Associate Attorney to join our litigation team. This entry-level role offers full training, no billing hours, and hands-on litigation work, including courtroom advocacy and strategic case management.

You will draft pleadings, review files, advocate for clients at hearings, and handle discovery, while learning firm procedures and maintaining compliance with deadlines. The position emphasizes growth and active practice within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Admitted to practice law and in good standing in Nevada.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly motivated self-starter with eagerness to learn.
• Ability to manage and prioritize a large caseload.
• Clear communication in writing and speaking.
• Ability to complete a minimum of a 40-hour flexible workweek.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with team members and outside parties.
• Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, and discovery for active litigation.
• Review case files to determine actions and strategy.
• Advocate for clients at hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Utilize internal software to update and document account status.
• Analyze litigation inventory and ensure proper workflow.
• Comply with client and firm SOPs.
• Travel to various courtrooms within the branch footprint as required.
• Prepare for and represent clients at hearings with case strategy and discovery.
• Negotiate settlements to protect client interests.
• Evaluate case merits and provide strategic legal recommendations.
• Maintain compliance with laws, regulations, and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
