Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks a Litigation Associate with 3-6 years of civil litigation experience in Torrance, CA. The role focuses on defending corporate clients under the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act and coordinating across the firm’s national litigation platform.

You will draft motions, handle discovery, take depositions, and assist in trial preparation, with opportunities for mediation and settlement work in a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academics.
• Active member of the California State Bar.
• 3-6 years of civil litigation experience.
• Experience defending corporate clients under consumer warranty acts preferred.
• Deposition, motion-writing and trial preparation experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle all phases of litigation in state and federal courts.
• Manage cases under the Song-Beverly Act and related consumer matters.
• Draft and argue dispositive motions and other pleadings.
• Conduct written discovery, depositions, and e-discovery.
• Prepare witnesses for deposition and trial; participate in mediations and settlements.
• Collaborate with the firm's national litigation platform.
