Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active WSBA in good standing.
• Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Excellent judgment, communication, and case management abilities.
• Ability to independently manage multiple matters and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support a busy litigation practice from initial investigation through resolution, settlement, or trial.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other litigation-related filings.
• Conduct and manage all phases of discovery.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Analyze contracts and legal documents, including indemnity and insurance provisions.
• Represent clients in mediation, arbitration, and court proceedings.
• Develop case strategy and assist with risk assessment and client counseling.
• Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case status and objectives.

The firm represents individuals, businesses, and public entities across a variety of practice areas and is known for its collaborative, client-focused approach and positive workplace culture.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with 5+ years of litigation experience who is looking to take on significant responsibility, work closely with clients, and contribute to a busy and sophisticated litigation practice. Probate and trust litigation experience is welcomed but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support a busy litigation practice in managing matters from initial investigation through resolution, settlement, or trial
