Position Overview

We are seeking a highly qualified Litigation Associate to join our team in either our Tacoma or Seattle office. The ideal candidate will have 5 or more years of litigation experience; probate experience is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Support a busy litigation team in managing matters from investigation through resolution or trial
• Draft pleadings, handle discovery, take and defend depositions, and argue motions
• Analyze contracts, including indemnity and insurance provisions
• Represent clients in mediation, arbitration, and trial settings
• Contribute to case strategy, client communication, and risk assessment

Minimum Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Active member in good standing with the Washington State Bar
• 5+ years of litigation experience
• Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
• Excellent judgment, communication, and case management abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Probate/TEDRA litigation experience (preferred but not required)
• Ability to manage multiple high-level cases with limited supervision
