Job summary

Confidential Employer in Seattle is seeking a litigation attorney to handle complex commercial matters, product liability, environmental issues, and insurance coverage disputes. You will draft pleadings, conduct research, manage discovery, and support trial preparations with mentorship from senior attorneys.

Applicants must be licensed in Washington with 2+ years civil litigation experience; 4+ years preferred. Hybrid schedule after onboarding, with up to two remote days per week.

Qualifications

• Active Washington Bar license.
• 2+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• Team‑oriented with the ability to manage matters independently.
• 4+ years of litigation experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex commercial litigation, product liability, environmental, and insurance coverage matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, correspondence, and other legal documents.
• Research and analyze complex legal issues.
• Manage all phases of discovery, including electronically stored information and large document productions.
• Assist with trial preparation and provide courtroom support.
• Conduct legal due diligence involving contracts, agreements, and mergers and acquisitions.
• Participate in depositions, court hearings, and motions practice.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
• Work independently while collaborating closely with attorneys and legal support staff.

Pay: $145,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
