Job summary

W3Global in Madison, WI seeks an Associate Attorney to join a growing litigation practice. The ideal candidate will handle insurance defense, municipal representation, workers' compensation, and/or commercial litigation with strong client service.

This hybrid role requires 3 days in the office, with opportunities to advance through pre-trial, trial, and appellate work, including drafting pleadings, conducting depositions, and counseling clients.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active, good-standing state bar admission.
• 2+ years of litigation experience in state/federal courts or administrative agencies; jury trial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients through all phases of litigation, including pre-trial, trial, and appellate matters.
• Draft pleadings, written discovery, motions, and briefs; conduct depositions and appear in state and federal courts before judges and juries.
• Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues.
• Communicate directly with clients, understand their legal needs, and provide practical advice.
• Develop strategies to resolve cases favorably and cost-effectively.
• Negotiate, advocate, and build strong client relationships based on trust.
• Stay current on legislation relevant to assigned practice areas.
• Work independently and collaboratively with attorneys and legal support staff while managing multiple deadlines.
