Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Bar license in good standing.
• 3+ years of litigation experience.
• Experience drafting motions, pleadings, discovery, and other litigation documents.
• Deposition and motion practice experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, research, writing, and advocacy skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Ability to independently manage deadlines and multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution with supervision.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests/responses, memoranda, and analyses.
• Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies.
• Attend depositions, mediations, hearings, arbitrations, and court appearances.
• Communicate with clients regarding case status, strategy, and risk.
• Negotiate settlements and assist with dispute resolution.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution with appropriate supervision based on experience level.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, legal memoranda, and case analyses.
• Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies.
• Attend and participate in depositions, mediations, hearings, arbitrations, and court appearances.
• Communicate directly with clients regarding case status, strategy, and risk assessment.
• Negotiate settlements and assist with dispute resolution efforts.
• Collaborate with attorneys across offices and practice groups in a team-oriented environment.
• Assist with trial preparation, witness preparation, and case management activities.
• Maintain accurate case files and meet litigation deadlines.
