The role includes active caseload management, robust motion practice, court appearances, eDiscovery production and review, and handling depositions. Qualifications

  • Licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
  • 3–7 years of experience in handling complex commercial litigation matters.
  • Active caseload management with motion practice and court appearances.
  • Experience with discovery, including electronic discovery and depositions.
  • Experience handling pleadings, dispositive motions, and trial work.

  • Litigation avoidance counseling where applicable.
  • Developing case strategy.
  • Court appearances, including oral argument and evidentiary hearings.

  • Taking and defending depositions.
  • Preparing and arguing motions, including dispositive motions.
  • Trying cases as first or second chair.

About The Job

We are seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey with 3-7 years of applicable commercial litigation experience. Successful applicants must be driven and know how to deliver successful results for clients. Successful applicants must be prepared to assume an active caseload, which includes robust motion practice, court appearances, production and review of electronically stored information, and the handling of depositions. Associate Would Be Responsible For The Following
  • Managing cases from beginning to end
  • Client intake and management
  • Litigation avoidance counseling where applicable

  • Court appearances, including oral argument and evidentiary hearings
  • Preparing pleadings
  • Handling all aspects of discovery, including all components of electronic discovery (production of documents and review of documents received), as well as taking and defending depositions
  • Preparing and arguing motions, including case dispositive motions
  • Trying cases as either first or second chair
Requirements

Licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey with 3-7 years of experience in handling complex commercial litigation matters.
