Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. seeks a Commercial Litigation Associate with 2–8 years of litigation experience to join its growing team in a collaborative environment.

The attorney will engage in courtroom advocacy, client relations, and meaningful responsibility with mentorship from senior attorneys. Ideal candidates will hold a JD from an accredited law school and current bar membership in PA, NJ, NY or DE, with strong deposition and court appearance experience.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in PA, NJ, NY or DE.
• 2–5 years of litigation experience (insurance, construction, or employment law preferred).
• Experience handling depositions and court appearances required; trial experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with partners and associates on all aspects of complex litigation matters.
• Draft well-reasoned legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and memoranda.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Argue motions in state and/or federal courts.
• Communicate regularly and substantively with clients to build lasting relationships.
• Participate in trial preparation and courtroom proceedings, with mentorship from senior attorneys.
