Job summary

A respected law firm client in Nevada seeks a Litigation Associate Attorney with 3+ years of litigation experience to join its growing team in Nevada, with the opportunity to work out of Reno or Las Vegas in a flexible hybrid schedule.

The successful candidate will work alongside experienced attorneys representing clients in a broad range of litigation matters in Nevada state and federal courts. Judicial clerkship experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience in a law firm environment.
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Experience with written discovery and eDiscovery.
• Strong knowledge of Nevada and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
• Experience with depositions, trial preparation, motion practice, and oral advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters through all phases of the case lifecycle.
• Draft, respond to, and manage written discovery, including eDiscovery processes.
• Conduct legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, briefs, and memoranda.
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and trial proceedings.
• Handle motion practice and oral advocacy in state and federal courts.
• Collaborate with attorneys, clients, and support staff to develop litigation strategies.
• Analyze case facts, review documents, and assist in case investigations.
• Maintain compliance with Nevada and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
• Provide responsive client service while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Salary Range: $175,000–$185,000 annually
