Job Details

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of litigation including depositions, legal research, drafting & negotiation of legal documents, and trial & appellate work.
• Develop litigation strategies, conduct case analysis, and prepare reports for clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, judicial officers, and team members.
• Conduct extensive legal research and analysis of legal issues related to complex civil litigation matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Attend court proceedings and argue cases effectively.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, legal news, and trends in the legal industry to drive proactive, strategic case handling and client advice.
• Work collaboratively with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure smooth case management and client satisfaction.
  
  

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing with the state bar.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on complex civil litigation.
• Exceptional skills in legal research, analysis, negotiation, and client service.
• Proven experience in drafting legal documents, such as pleadings, briefs, motions, and discovery requests and responses.
• Strong oral advocacy skills and experience in court appearances and arguing motions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical judgment.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
