Mission Recruiting is seeking a Civil Litigation Associate Attorney with 4-7 years of sophisticated private practice experience to join a highly regarded litigation team in a hybrid Denver-based role. You will own complex matters, develop case strategy, and gain meaningful courtroom exposure.

You will handle motions, depositions, client counseling, and trial preparation with direct mentorship in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of sophisticated private practice civil litigation experience.
• Private practice civil litigation experience required.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage litigation matters.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
• Strong experience with discovery, motion practice, and depositions.
• Active Colorado Bar admission or eligibility for admission.

Responsibilities

Compensation

Salary Range: $210,000 - $360,000

Lockstep Associate Salary Schedule

• Year 1: $210,000
• Year 2: $220,000
• Year 3: $235,000
• Year 4: $265,000
• Year 5: $300,000
• Year 6: $325,000
• Year 7: $345,000
• Year 8: $360,000

Additional Compensation

• Relocation assistance for qualifying candidates

Location & Work Arrangement

Hybrid

• Three in-office days each week
• Wednesday in-office requirement
• New attorneys are encouraged to work in the office four to five days per week during onboarding to accelerate integration and professional development

Recommended Qualifications

• 4-7 years of sophisticated private practice civil litigation experience preferred
• Private practice civil litigation experience required
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage litigation matters
• Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy skills
• Strong experience with discovery, motion practice, and depositions
• Interest in obtaining substantial courtroom responsibility
• Active Colorado Bar admission or eligibility for admission

• Strong academic credentials
• Graduation from a Top 40-Top 50 law school preferred, with Top 14 strongly favored
• Law school GPA of 3.5 or higher preferred
