Distinct | North America in Dallas is seeking a Commercial Litigation Attorney for a hybrid role. You’ll work on big-law caliber matters within a boutique-sized team, with a docket spanning contracts, torts, and complex disputes and a workload that doesn’t rest on a few shoulders.

Commercial Litigation Attorney, Dallas (Hybrid work offered)

BigLaw-caliber work. Boutique-sized team. Roughly half the partners here started out as associates, so people don't tend to leave, and that says more about the place than any mission statement could.

Billable hours are 1800 and 5pm genuinely means 5pm here, aside from the odd stretch heading into trial. The litigation group is well staffed, so the workload never rests on two or three shoulders while everyone else coasts.

The docket is genuinely varied and genuinely complex: business ownership and shareholder disputes, breach of contract and business tort claims, trade secret and non-compete litigation, professional liability defense, and high-stakes commercial disputes spanning construction, energy, and financial services.

This isn't a firm that settles everything to clear the docket, and it isn't one that goes to trial just to prove a point either. Decisions are made strategically, case by case, based on what's actually best for the client.

That means you'll have the time and freedom to properly dig into your matters. Build a defense that's genuinely yours, shaped by real research and real strategy, not pulled from a template because nobody had time to think it through properly.
