Ascendion is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join a Chicago defense firm, focusing on civil defense matters involving trucking, transportation, and construction negligence claims. You will work with seasoned trial attorneys on high-stakes cases for insurers and institutional clients.

The ideal candidate has proven tort defense experience, strong writing, motion practice, and discovery skills, and can manage an active caseload with defense-side clients and carriers.

We represent insurers, self-insured carriers, contractors, and manufacturers in high-exposure, complex civil litigation across Illinois and nationally.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The base salary for this position is between $130,000 – $160,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
