Job summary

Daniel Stark is seeking a Litigation Assistant in Texas to support attorneys and paralegals in launching and managing litigation. You will gather critical evidence, coordinate with clients, and help navigate the litigation process with a focus on accuracy and empathy.

You will manage 40-60 cases, handle e-filing, drafting, scheduling mediations and depositions, and create discovery templates in Word while upholding our high client-service standards.

Qualifications

• Managing and maintaining a caseload of 40-60 cases with high client and leadership ratings.
• Ability to navigate multiple computer programs and software.
• Sense of urgency and ability to distinguish urgent vs important tasks.
• Empathy in client interactions and strong attention to detail.
• Natural habit of detailed, thorough, organized note-taking.
• Tenacity in pursuing client cases.

Responsibilities

• Request and review billing and medical record affidavits for accuracy.
• Schedule crucial litigation milestones (mediations, depositions, trial).
• E-filing.
• Data entry.
• Draft, review, and mail form letters.
• Create templates for responses to discovery in Microsoft Word.
