The Boston office of an AmLaw 100 law firm seeks a Litigation Administrative Assistant with experience supporting Litigation Attorneys to provide an elevated level of administrative support to a busy team of legal professionals. This position requires a proactive administrative professional with a ‘can do’ attitude who can anticipate needs, find solutions, and be an active team player.
The ideal candidate will have legal environment experience and excellent administrative support skills. Responsibilities include calendar management, expense reimbursement, document review, document management, redlining, e-filing, docketing, and litigation support. The assistant will handle conflict checks, client/matter onboarding, and billing setup. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, technology, document management systems, billing software, and electronic docket filing systems is required. The candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, reliable, confidentiality-minded, and possess strong communication skills, with a keen interest in supporting lawyers and paralegals within a litigation team.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of recent State and Federal litigation experience within a law firm. Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment, accuracy, strong IT skills, and excellent time management are essential. Interpersonal skills and professional judgment for interfacing with attorneys and clients are also important.
