Job summary

Saft, a global battery company, seeks a Production Supervisor to lead ~20 associates across three shifts in a dry-room manufacturing environment. You will oversee safety, quality, scheduling, and continuous improvement initiatives while coordinating with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Planning.

The role demands hands-on floor leadership, strong communication, and the ability to drive KPIs, SOPs, and lean practices in a fast-paced, regulated setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other technical discipline required; Master’s preferred.
• 3+ years of leadership within a manufacturing environment, preferably in high-reliability sectors.
• US Citizenship or 10-year green card required.
• Experience in lithium-ion, aerospace, defense, automotive, electronics or similar environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage activities for ~20 associates across three shifts with weekend overtime.
• Forecast schedules and manage constraints to meet the plan.
• Serve as central communications hub with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain hands-on leadership on the manufacturing floor.
• Primary escalation point for shift-level issues.
• Promote safety and enforce HSE compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement with SES and data-driven decisions.
• Coach and develop the team; oversee training and performance.
