Type of Position:

Graduate Assistant with the Reading department working 20 hours per week/300 hours per semester.

Pay Rate:

$8.34 per hour

Job Summary:

The Graduate Assistant will use cutting edge technology in researching various topics and databases.

●Summarize and synthesize information gathered through reading literacy articles and other sources

●Assist professors in creating materials for class

Required Qualifications:

●Effective communication skills, research skills and computer skills.

●Criminal background clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

●Enrolled in Graduate Reading program or other greducation program.

●Knowledge of teaching of reading and related topics.

●Ability to work independently on short and long-term projects
